All Muslims of a city or town usually gather together in the Masjid to offer the Jumu’ah Salah.

Other than the fact that it is the day of Jumu’ah and special prayers, it is also considered to be a day of Eid (celebrations).
It is the day the first man, Adam (a.s), was created and also the day he was granted entry into Paradise. It is the day he was removed from Paradise (which became the cause for man’s existence) and the Day of Resurrection will also occur on this day.
AFTER SALAH HALAQAHS
Short Halaqas of Ahadith, Tafsir, general Islamic knowledge etc. are delivered after the obligatory Salahs.
These Halaqas are offered based on the availability of the Imam and timings of Salahs.
